Acrylic Snowflakes

Hi!

One of my basic winter manicures.

I just love the way snowflakes look.

What I used:

Basecoat: Konad Base Coat.

Colors: W7 Sheer Blue, Essence Alpine Snow, Sephora Curaçao, OPI Austin-Tatious Turquoise.

Other Products: White Acrylic Powder, Acrylic Liquid, Snowflake Mold, Sponge.

Topcoat: Sephora Clear.

1.Apply your base coat and light blue polish.

2.Apply the light blue shimmery polish.

3.Sponge the darker blue polish over the tips.

4.Make the snowflakes by filling the molds with the acrylic mixture.

5.Sponge on the darker blue shimmery polish.

6.Remove the snowflakes from the molds and place them onto the nails.

7.Apply your topcoat.

Swatch: China Glaze Purple Panic & OPI Black Spotted

Hi!

Purple Panic is one of the polishes I got for Christmas.

I was dying to try it out.

And I love the way black looks with neon colors.

So I just thought I would use Black Spotted over it.

Purple Panic is a neon magenta color with a slight purple duo chrome.

I hoped that it would be more of a true neon violet color. But it still is pretty, only a bit too pink.

I wanted to use it for neon rainbow designs. 

It has matte finish, just like most polishes.

I used 3 coats.

Over that I used OPI Black Spotted.

It is a black polish that will give you a effect over another nail polish.

It is similar to crackle but instead of patches this polish will look like oil in water and shows the color underneath it.

The trick to this polish is using 1 thin coat.

If you use a thicker coat the polish won't spread.

Swatch: OPI The "IT" Color & Essence Glorious Aquarius

Hi!
The "IT" has been collecting dust lately.

I think that last time I used it was back in October or something like that.

So I thought I should use it again.

OPI The "IT" Color is a cream yellow mustard color.

It is truly a weird color but I like it.

I used 3 coats.

Over that I used 1 coat of Glorious Aquarius.

It is a topcoat with large and small hexagonal glitter and small silver glitter particles.

To switch things up it also has large silver hexagonal glitters that reflect and orange/copper color.

Swatch: Zoya Suzanne

Hi!

I have been wanting this polish for so long!
Mostly because the polish has the same name as me but also because I think the shade is really pretty.

Zoya Suzanne is a cool toned pink mauve/taupe color.

It has a purple duo chrome and a metallic finish.

These polish remind me of the Collection 2000 polishes I had when I was younger.

The also had this purple duo chrome.

I really liked those polishes.

I used 3 coats.

Swatch: Cherimoya 21

Hi!

For Christmas my aunt and uncle got me 5 amazing metallic polishes and some magnets magnets.

I don't know how they did it but I absolutely love every single color!

And they react really well to the magnet.

I used 2 coats of Cherimoya 21.

It is a red maroon color with a metallic finish.

This is a lovely winter polish, it is really dark and vampy.

The magnet isn't as good though. This is the magnet that come with the polish.

The magnet works fine and come in nice patterns.

But it doesn't have something to rest on your finger, this makes it hard to get the pattern even en in the middle.

If the magnet had this it would be perfect.

The Claire's magnet have it though, so I prefer to use that one.

Metallic Tribal

Hi!
I always use bright or pastel color when I do a tribal design.

So just to switch thing up I thought I would use metallic colors instead.

What I used:

Base Coat: Essence XXL Nail Thickener.

Colors: Paris Memories 234, H&M Metallic Grey, Cherimoya 31, Stargazer 237, Black Acrylic.

Topcoat: Sephora Clear.

1.Apply your base coat and white polish.

2.Make horizontal lines with the metallic colors.

3.Make the patterns with black.

4.Apply your topcoat.

Photo Fail

Hi!
I have been seeing a lot of triangular "half moon" manicures lately.

Instead of the typical round shape at the top of the nails there is a triangle.

I just tried this combination and I like the result.

Even my economics teacher told me he thought that my nails were nice and matchy.

I just thought that was really funny.

What I used:

Base Coat: Essence XXL Nail Thickener.

Colors: Paris Memories 234 (Not Shown), Essie Mint Candy Apple.

Other Products: White Velvet Powder, Silver Striping Tape.

Topcoat: Sephora Clear.

1.Apply your base coat and paint your nails a mint green color.

2.Apply the striping tape.

3.Apply your topcoat.

This may seem a weird order but if you apply your topcoat over the velvet powder you won't keep the effect.

4.Apply 1 layer of white polish to the triangle you created with the striping tape.

5.Work one nail at a time and apply the second layer of white polish, after that you want to dip the nail in the velvet powder. And remove the excess.

I couldn't get a good picture of this manicure.

Stamping Saturday: Nude Stars

Hi!

I came across this picture on Weheartit.com.

I think it is so cute! The nude makes it look simple but the stars give this manicure an extra kick.

I have also seen a version with a neon turquoise background that looked awesome.

What I used:
Base Coat: Essence XXL Nail Thickener.

Colors: Essence Hazelnut Cream Pie, Essie Natural Cotton, Konad Pearl Black.

Other Products: Stamping Products, Konad M11.

Topcoat: Konad Topcoat.

1.Apply your nude polish.

I used Hazelnut Cream Pie first to erase my free edge.

Over that I applied 1 coat of Natural Cotton to lighten up Hazelnut Cream Pie.

2.Stamp the stars onto the nails.

I used the image multiple times.

3.Apply your topcoat.

Review: Nivea Express Hydration Handlotion

Hi!

Hand cream is something everyone uses. Some on a daily bases, some a little less.

A lot of people prefer a hand cream that is thin and sink in quit.

Here is a review for a hand cream that I think a lot of people will like.

Nivea Express Hydration Hand lotion claims to be a lotion that sinks in quick and is for a normal to dry sink without a sticky feeling.

It is a thin lotion that sinks in quick and it won't leave you with a sticky feeling.

However, it doesn't moisturizes your hands enough if they are dry.

It is a good hand lotion for a normal skin but not for a dry skin.

The packaging is alright, not to big (100ml).

But I would take this tube with me in a bag, I personally would prefer a smaller one.

The tube itself looks alright, not to much going on, nice and simple.

The opening closes nice, I hate it when a tube doesn't close properly.

And it isn't hard to open is either, it really bugs me if a tube is really hard top open.

The scent is a soft clean scent.

I can imagine a lot of people liking it because it is such a light scent.

Overall I only recommend this hand lotion if you have a normal skin or in the summer.

If you can find a smaller tube I is a nice product to bring with you in your bag.

But if you have a dry skin of you are looking for a hand lotion for the winter I don't recommend this one.

Bordeaux Lace

Hi!
My dad recently made a draw organizer for me because I had a hard time seeing what I actually have.

When I finally saw how any different kinds of nail decorations I have I thought it would be a good idea to start using them more.

I mostly use polish, acrylic paint and rhinestones.

I haven't touched my foils or beads in quite some time.

So my idea it to try to use my different kinds of products around once a month.

I know it is almost impossible but I am just going to try it.

What I used:

Base Coat: Konad Base Coat.

Color: China Glaze Velvet Bow.

Other Products: Lace Foil, Foil Glue.

Topcoat: Star Nail Art Finishing Sealer.

1.Apply your base coat and base color.

2.Apply your foil glue and wait till it turns clear.

3.Apply the foil over the nail and peal it off.

4.Apply your topcoat.

Swatch: Models Own Hedonist

Hi!
I think I haven't used this polish on it's own.
Which is really weird because I really like the color.

Hedonist is neon pinky watermelon red.

It has a cream texture and a semi matte finish.

I think that this is a great color for the summer on the hands.

It will also look really cute with a pair of flip flops!

Imagine this color on your toes with a pair of white flip flops.

I used 3 coats.

Over that I used 1 coat of Essence Fruity Topcoat.
