Abstract Grey

Hi!
I have seen a advert a lot on the internet that shows really nice nails.
They are long nail with a abstract grey design on it, I thought I couldn't do it because it looked difficult.
But I did it and I like it.

I like the design but my nails were always to short. Now that they are long I decided to try it.

What I used:
Basecoat: Essence Allround.
Colors: Biocura, Black Acrylic.
Mixed Colors: Black and White Acrylic.
Other Products: Silver Beads, Essence SOS Nail Glue.
Topcoat: Essence Allround.

I hope you liked it.

Halloween Half Moon

Hi!
The half moon manicure is going to be a big trend this fall.
And with halloween coming up this month I thought that it would be a good idea to combinate these things.
This is really easy and quick, so if you don't have the time to do a free hand design this is really great.
What I used:
Basecoat: Essence Allround.
Colors: Paris Memories 234, Paris Memories 236, Essence Wake Up!.
Other Products: Plaster.

1.Apply your base and your white polish.

2. Make a half moon manicure with the plaster and paint it orange.

3.Make the web.
Make one straight line down and a line on each side of the first line.

4. Make horizontal line in between the other lines.

5.Apply your topcoat.
And you're done.

I wanted to show you my new nail polish stand.

I made it with my dad.
You can buy this kind of stand but it is clear and you can't fit as much polishes in there.
And this one matches my room.

I hope you liked it.

Dot..Dot..Dot...

Hi!
This is another design I haven't posted but did about a week ago.
I love the color combination and the design is simple but cute.
The tutorial is by Linda165.
Link for the tutorial:

What I used:
Basecoat: Essence Allround.
Colors: Biocura, Maybelline Fuchsia, Paris Memories 236.
Mixed Colors: White and Black Acrylic.
Topcoat: Essence Allround.

I mixed the black and white to get a light grey and than mixed it with more black to get a darker shade.

I would recommend to use 2 shades of grey nail polish but I didn't had the right colors.
But if you do please use those, it will stay on longer.
And if you use acrylic don't forget you topcoat.

I hope you liked it.

Starting Out Sunday Water Marble

Hi!
I wanted to post a how to water marble for quite some time
but I thought that showing you the basics first would be a better idea
but now I'm going to show you how I do it.

I am not a big fan of water marble because it takes time to find polishes that work together.
It is also messy but I have 2 tips that will help a bit.
The hardest part is to find polishes that wil work togheter.
Some polishes don't work in the water. There is no ruel for that or any way to know which combination works.
You'll just have to try it.
I will say that glitter polishes don't work and polishes by the same brand often do work.

If you want to see different marble tutorials I would suggest you to check out these 2 channels:
Simple Little Pleasues.
She also shows crackle polishes and tips on marbling.
ILoveMyLongNails:
Not only does she marble but she also has got great videos on foils and drag marble.
What I used:
Basecoat: Essence Allround Talent.
Colors: Paris Memories 234, Paris Memories 236.
Other Products: Cup of water, Toothpicks, Tape.
Topcoat: Essence Soft Touch Topcoat.

1.Apply your basecoat and your basecolor.
I would suggest to use white but if you don't have white you could use the lightest color that you are going to marble with.

2. Tape in you nails.
Place the tape around your cuticle and down the finger so the nailpolish won't stick there.
If you don't have tape just rub a thick layer of vaseline on your finger. But make sure that there isn't vaseline on the nail.

3.Build up your bullseye by dropping a drop of polish in the water.
Alternating between the colors.

4. Make a pattern.
There are a lot of way to do this.
This is an easy one.
Don't over draw, than the colors will blend en you wont get the nice pattern.

I would recommend to make a big pattern, a lot of it won't be on the nail but you can choose the best part that you want on the nail.

5. Dip you finger in the polish on the wanted area.
Remove the remaining polish with a toothpick.

6.Peel off the tape or rub the the vaseline of your finger.

7. Remove any nail polish that is still on your cuticle.

8.Apply your topcoat.

I hope you liked it.

Essence Blue Addicted

Hi!
As you could read yesterday in Stamping Saturday I bought some new products by Essence.
This was the number 1 polish that I really wanted.
This polish is so pretty that I needed it.

It is a sheer dark blue polish with lighter blue glitters and lighter blue and green hexago glitters.

I really like this polish.
The name is Blue Addicted (number 78) by Essence

I hope you liked it.

Stamping Saturday Captain Sparrow's Boat

Hi!
I went shopping yesterday and my local drugstore had the new Catrice and Essence products.
The new products by Essence are really pretty but the Catrice things are kinda repeat of other brands.
But this polish is really nice, it is a dupe of Chanel's Black Pearl.
It is Captian Sparrow's Boat by Catrice.
The ironic part about these 2 polishes is that Jack Sparrow's boat is the Black Pearl, and that is the name of the Chanel version.

What I used:
Basecoat: Essence Ultra Strong.
Colors: Stargazer 232, Catrice Captain Sparrow's Boat.
Other Products: Konad Stamping Products, Essence Image Plate.

I hope you liked it.

Christian Louboutin Leopard

Hi!
I haven't posted in a long time,
I just started school so I don't have a lot time.
I know I say this a lot but this is my last year and I really want to pass so I got to work a lot harder than the past few years, so I will try to post as much as I can.

Enough of my life and school.
This design was inspired by these shoes:
I want to have a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes.
I love the classic black ones.

What I used:
Basecoat: Essence Ultra Strong.
Colors: Paris Memories 236, OPI Brisbane Bronze, Catrice Bloody Mary To Go.
Mixed Colors: Gosh Effect Powder Glamour mixed with Essence High Shine Topcoat.
Topcoat: Essence High Shine Topcoat.

1. Appy your basecoat and your gold polish.
I wanted to use a more warm gold so I mixed a loose pigment with a clear topcoat.

2. Make with the brown color a few spots.
I used the Essence Nail Art Stylist but you could use any small dotting tool.

3. Outline the spots with black.
I used a toothpick to do this.

4.Apply your topcoat.

I also painted the bottom red.
Just apply your polish there and seal it in with a layer of topcoat.

I hope you liked it.
