And I am going to explain it to you why, I was really busy with school and didn't really had time to do my nails so I didn't had anything to post.
Plus I really wasn't in the mood to write anything, I wasn't inspired to post anything.
But I am so excited to start posting again and I have also a few ideas for the posts that I can't wait to show you.
So I am back, I am not going to stop blogging but I do like to add that I am going to post a little less, I don't have the time to do my nails every day nor do I have the time to write a post every day.
But this post isn't only about me starting to blog again, this post is also a haul of all the things I bought on holiday and a few things I recently bought.
A few weeks before I went on vacation I got an iPhone 4.
My Blackberry broke and I needed a new phone.
To protect my iPhone I did need a case.
I found this Peter Pan one on Etsy.
I just like the quote and I think that the background is really cute.
I went to Limburg (south of Holland) for my vacation and of course I had to go to Germany to visit Kiko.
First off, I got 3 eye shadows.
The first one I got is 41 from the Colour Sphere line. These are the baked eye shadows by Kiko.
41 looks like a dark royal purple with some pink glittery veining.
On the skin it is a royal purple with purple and pink glitter.
08 is another Colour Sphere eye shadow, it is a light Tiffany blue shade with frost finish.
213 is part of the Wet & Dry shadow line.
It is a hunter green eye shadow with green shimmer.
The Colour Spheres are 5,90 euros and Wet & Dry eye shadows cost 8,90 euros.
I also wanted to try one of their mascaras so I choose to get the Unforgettable mascara.
It has a curved wand. To be honest, I have only been wearing mascara for a few months now so I don't really know the difference between mascara's.
The Unforgettable mascara costs 7,20 euros.
The last eye shadow I got is a Pigment Loose Eyeshadow in 19 from the Fluo line.
It is a bright neon orange pigment.
I thought it would be cool to mix this one with 20, which it a neon pink, and create an bright coral shade.
Pigment Loose Eyeshadows are 5,90 euros.
Here are some swatches of the eye shadows, the one on the top is 41 and underneath those swatches I have 08.
For both shadows I have a dry swatch on top and on the bottom I swatched the shadow with a damp brush.
And here are the swatches of 213 and 19.
On the left I have the shadows swatch with a dry brush and on the right I swatched them with a damp brush.
I had to buy some more of their polishes because I absolutely love them.
The first polish I got is 628 from the Mirror Nail Lacquer line.
It is the exact same rose gold color as my watch and bracelet.
I wanted to get it to paint my nails if I just want a quick color on my nails.
And since I always wear my watch and bracelet I know that this shade will work with most of my outfits.
I am wearing 2 coats in the picture.
The Mirror Nail Lacquers cost 4,90 euros but were on sale for 1,50 euros.
Kiko has also brought out a new line of nail polishes which are the Quick Dry Nail Lacquers.
This line doesn't have a lot of color yet but I think that Kiko will expend this line with more colors.
The shade I got is 802 and it is a light coral polish with gold mirco shimmer.
I am wearing 3 coats in the picture and this polish coats 4,90 euros.
The third polish I got is 283 from the normal nail polishes.
It is a darker fuchsia pink with a cream finish.
283 is a dupe for Maybelline Fuchsia, which I used to love so much!
I used 2 coats and normally these cost 3,90 euros but I payed 1,50 euros for this one.
My mum wanted to get 314, it is a creamy floral purple color.
Again I payed 1,50 euros for this polish but normally they cost 3,90 euros.
I used 2 coats.
I really don't know why I got 298 to be honest, it looks like a really nice color but it is really sheer.
It is a turquoise tinted topcoat with turquoise micro shimmer.
I don't think I will use this polish a whole lot, just because I will have to use this over another polish and it isn't a polish that will work with every color.
It still is a nice color but I tend to not really use those type of polishes a lot.
But who knows, maybe I just need to use it a few times to love it.
I used 3 coats in the picture and I payed 1,50 euros for this polish.
The last polish I got was 296, which is a typical Irish green color with a cream finish.
Again, my mum saw this color and I thought it would be a nice color to have to use for leafs and such things.
I am wearing 2 coats in the picture.
This polish normally costs 3,90 euros but I payed 1,50 euros.
And the last product I got at Kiko was their Fierce Spirit Eyes Brush.
It is a double ended brush, one end is a flat shader brush to apply eye shadow to your lids and the other end is a pencil/blending brush.
I don't really know how to describe it, it is a long thin brush, it isn't a stiff brush like a pencil brush but it isn't fluffy like a good blending brush should be.
This brush costs 5,90 euros.
The next stop was DM, I had to check P2s products.
I saw that they still had their Sand Style polishes.
I have been wanting to try this type of polish for such a long time and finally I can give liquid sand a try.
The shade I got is Confidential, it is a navy blue base with green, purple and pink glitter.
I am wearing 2 coats in the picture.
I also saw the new Gel Nail At Home kits by Essence.
I have been wanting to try more gel polishes because I am not happy with the Mild East set I got from Ebay.
So I thought I could give this a shot.
The kit I got is the Started Kit which comes with the cleanser, the peel off gel base, clear gel topcoat & the primer.
All are full sized and costs 9,99 euros.
And now over to the stuff I bought in Holland.
Roermond has an Body Shop Outlet and I just had to check out their prices.
Of course a new tube of Hemp Hand Protector hand cream had to be bought!
I love this hand cream, it is the best one I have tried ever.
I believe this one was 5 or 5,50 euros instead of 6,50.
And a backup of my newest favorite shower gel also ended up in my basket.
I love the Strawberry Shower Gel, it smell like fresh strawberries and is just yummy in the shower.
I love the scent of it and it cleans my body just fine.
I don't know how much I payed for this bottle in the outlets but normally a bottle (250ml) is 7,00 euros.
The last things I bought were (of course) body butters.
I love body butters and I use them like a crazy person!
The first one is a scent I have never seen, it is the Raspberry body butter and it smell (yep, you guessed it) like raspberries and it is for normal skin.
The second one is in a scent I loved last winter, it is the Ginger Sparkle scent that The Body Shop brings out around the holidays. I just love the warm ginger scent, it reminds me of the winter and Christmas.
And the last one I got was the Peach body butter.
And this one has a bit of a different scent, it does smell like peaches but more like a peachy fizzy drink.
It is a lovely scent for the summer.
I payed 21 euros for the 3 body butters.
I also got a few nail art and baking products from Pipoos.
I have been eyeing this set for a few months now but I thought it was a bit expensive for something that I wasn't quite sure about.
I wanted to try to get a sandy effect on my nails by using decorating sand.
The brand is Sandy Art and the set is called Basic Collection 2.
It comes with a lilac, dusty pink, green, yellow sand color, greyish white and a blue color.
Normally this set costs 9,95 euros but I got is with 50% off and at the register I found out that I got an additional 20% off this set so I only had to pay 2,98 euros!
I also saw this jar of Crisco, Mycupcakeaddiction uses this a lot in her tutorial so I thought I should get it.
The main thing that I will be using this for it to thicken up my frosting.
This jar costed me 5,95 euros.
The last thing I got at Pipoos is a Wilton Candy Mold.
I got Roses In Bloom.
Personally I think a rose is easy to incorporate with a lot of cupcakes and other baked goods so I wanted to try this out.
This mold costs 2,50 euros.
Normally I don't really show clothing on my blog because I am not the most stylish person.
But this is my style and I think that some people might like it.
So here we go!
The first item is an plaid shirt from Superdry in Roermond.
It is a primary blue with red and darker blue stripes.
Everyone who knows me in real life know that I have an obsession with plaid, I have about 6 shirts in my closet and wear them all the time! I really like these in the fall/winter.
This one costs 37,00 euros.

Another clothing item I need to have are Levi's jeans, especially the Demi Curve Skinny jeans!
These are the only jeans I really have in my closet, I just get them in different colors.
This time I got a black one, this is a jeans made out of denim.
This one was around 60,00 euros.
The other one is a pair of darker washed jeans, this one is more of a stretchy material.
I absolutely love these type of jeans! The stretchy material feels so nice and fits perfectly!
The jeans won't feel tight or uncomfortable.
If you are only getting one pair I highly suggest you to look for the softer stretchy ones!
The costed me around 70,00 euros.
Another clothing piece I will always need are basic colored t-shirts.
I am also well known for not putting a lot of effort in my outfits, 90% of the time I will probably wear a plaid shirt or a basic colored shirt with a cardigan.
I also used to wear a lot of black shirts but I am trying to stay more away of black and wear fun colors like this mint color.
I love mint green and I would have never expected that I could really pull off lighter colors but I do like it on me.
This shirt is a basic mint shirt from Vero Moda, it costs 8,95 euros.
I have noticed that the last few winters I have liked wearing thin sweater with a tank top underneath it.
The other thing that I like about this sweater is that the sleeves aren't too long, they stop around my elbows.
If the sleeves are longer I will always roll them up, that's just how I like to wear my sweaters.
And I think that these sweaters are a nice change from the plaid shirts and t-shirts.
This navy one is from Vero Moda.
Costs 12,95 euros.
The last sweater I bought at Vero Moda is a fig colored sweater.
The sleeves aren't too tight, so I can roll them up to my elbows.
And it had the cute gold zipper detail on the right shoulder, which I am in love with!
Can if be fall already!? Please!? I really want to start wearing my new sweaters!
I payed 16,95 euros.
What a surpise! I got another basic t-shirt!
Told you I wear these things a lot....
This is a wine colored shirt, I thought that this would be a lovely shirt for the fall.
Yeah, there isn't a lot to say about this shirt.
This shirt is from NewYorker for 4,95 euros, it is from the brand Amisu.
The last thing I got is this blouse.
It is a petrol color with silver buttons.
It isn't what something what I normally would wear but I really like it.
I think that would be a nice blouse for the winter.
This shirt is also by Amisu from NewYorker, it costs 16,95 euros and also comes in red, white, black and purple.
This isn't something I bought but something I won!
I won this Hot Neon Nights set on the It's So Easy Facebook page.
I am just going to show you what comes in this kit.
First off, you get 3 strippers.
A bright green, it is a cool color but it also is quite sheer for a stripper.
To me a stripper needs to be really pigmented because I don't want to go over details more than once.
2 coats or 1 coat over white and it will be alright.
The second color is a neon purple.
This one is a bit thicker in consistency but still easy to use.
In terms of pigmentation it is the same as the green, it is a bit too sheer for a stripper.
But you will get away with 2 coats or over a white.
The last color is my favorite.
It is a neon coral pink color.
This one is a bit more pigmented than the other two.
You can get away with only 1 coat of this polish.
The other 2 things in this set are the Nail Art Sealer, a thin topcoat that is great to use with 3D nail art and glitter.
The topcoat really runs over the nail and gets everywhere on the nail and seals your nail art really well.
I am really excited to try this topcoat.
And the other thing is a jar of neon yellow glitter.
This is quite an impressive glitter.
Most light colored glitters tend to disappear when you apply a topcoat but this glitter seams to hold up pretty well.
That's all I have for you.
I hope you liked it.
Please comment.
