Easy Aztec

Hi!
Here is just another Aztec/tribal manicure.
Only this time it is a little simpler and faster to do.

What I used:
Base Coat: China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat.
Colors: China Glaze For Audrey, Black acrylic paint.
Topcoat: Seche Vite.

1.Apply your base coat and base color.

2.Make the stripes to form the pattern.
I used a striping brush but you can always use a striper polish.

3.Apply your topcoat.

I hope you liked it.

Ombre Pastel Meets Tribal

Hi!
Ombre and tribal are some of my favorite kind of manicures and together they are amazing!
This manicure is once again inspired by a manicure I found on wehearit.com.
I know I have said this before but I seriously love this manicure!
The colors are perfect for spring and they work so well together.
The tribal pattern really finishes this look.
I chose for an off-white color instead of a true white color because I thought that it would be a nice change and I love it.
It is just a bit more subtle than the white (as far as a tribal pattern can be subtle).
It compliments the ombre background really nicely.

What I used:
Base Coat: China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat.
Colors: Essie Mint Candy Apple, Kiko 356, Kiko 360, FolkArt 450 Parchment.
Other Products: Sponge.
Topcoat: Seche Vite.

1.Apply your base coat.
If you are working with sheer colors you want to also apply a white polish before you are going to apply your polishes.

2.I applied my color the nail just with the brush that it comes with.
This will act as a base so I won't have to use my sponge a lot.

3.Apply the colors to the sponge in the same order as you applied the colors to the nail.

4.Sponge the colors on.

5.Make the tribal pattern.
You can make any pattern you want and use any color you want, you don't have to use a paint.
I just find a paint easier to work with.

6.Apply your topcoat.

I hope you liked it.

Sunset Tribal

Hi!
So I don't do a lot of one stroke flowers anymore but I paint a ton of tribal patterns.
I don't know why I get so obsessed with certain manicures, it just happens.
Here is another variation that I got from weheartit.com.
That day I just wanted to use yellows and oranges so I replaced the blue/green theme with yellow and orange polishes.

What I used:
Base Coat: China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat.
Colors: Paris Memories 234, China Glaze Style Wars, Ciaté Big Yellow Taxi, La Femme Gold Glitter, Black Acrylic.
Other Products: Sponge.
Topcoat: Seche Vite.

1.Apply your base coat and white polish.

2.Apply your yellow and orange to the sponges and dab the sponge on the nail to blend the colors onto nail.
Simply apply the polish underneath each other on the sponge making sure that the colors are connected to the other color.
If you are working with sheer colors you are better of by apply a coat of polish to the nails first.
So I painted the top half of the nails yellow and the bottom orange after my white had dried.

3.Make the tribal pattern with your black acrylic paint.
You could also use a black polish.

4.Apply your topcoat.

The camera I normally use broke and my old camera isn't my friend either so I have to use my iPhone to take pictures with.
The next few posts will probably be with pictures taken with my iPhone.
I hope to have my camera back soon so I can take better pictures.
The picture below is a picture that I took with my iPhone.

I hope you liked it.

Easy Tribal

Hi!
It's not a secret that I love tribal prints.
I have done multiple variations on a tribal print manicure.
But a lot of the time they are detailed and aren't quick manicures at all.
This variation however is a easier version of a tribal manicure.

What I used:
Base Coat: China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat.
Colors: Kiko 283, Paris Memories 234, Black acrylic paint.
Topcoat: Seche Vite.

1.Apply your base coat and white polish.

2.Make 2 thick pink stripes across the nail leaving a small space in between them.

3.Make thin black stripes next to both pink stripes and in between the pink stripes.

4.Make vertical lines at the bottom of the nail and triangles at the top.

5.Fill the triangles in.

6.Apply your topcoat.

I hope you liked it.

1.Apply your base coat and white polish.

2.Apply the pink nail polish to the thumb, purple on your middle finger and your blue shade on your pink finger.

3.Create a fading effect on your index finger going from pink to purple and from purple to blue on your ring finger.

4.Make the tribal pattern with a black acrylic paint.
You can also use a black nail polish.

Childish Tribal?

Hi!
We all have those days when you don't really know what to do with your nails or just don't have enough time to try something new.
Whenever I have these days I turn to my standard tribal manicure.
For some reason I thought that this combination would work... I think it looks like a painting of a 4 year old...
So maybe my tribal manicure isn't as fool proof as I thought...

What I used:
Base Coat: Essence XXL Nail Thickener.
Colors: Paris Memories 234, Sephora Yellow Umbrella, Sephora Valentine, Sephora Curaçao, OPI Hot & Spicy, Black Acrylic.
Topcoat: Sephora Clear.

1.Apply your base coat and white polish.

2.Apply the colors in horizontal bars.

3.Make a black line wherever 2 colors meet.

4.Make the different patterns.

5.Apply your topcoat.

I hope you liked it.

Contrasting Tribal

Hi!
A Weaheartit.com manicure, again...
Can you tell I really love that site?

The reason why I wanted to do this tribal manicure is because it has this mustard yellow color.
Since I have a hard time using The "It" Color by OPI in combination with other color I thought I should give this a shot.
I really like the result and think I will try it again.

What I used:
Base Coat: Essence XXL Nail Thickener.
Colors: Paris Memories 234, Ruby Kisses Teal Envy, OPI The "It" Color, Black Acrylic.
Topcoat: Sephora Clear.

1.Apply your base coat and white polish.

2.Apply the mustard and teal color in horizontal lines.

3.Outline every color and make the pattern.
4.Apply your topcoat.
I forgot that my nail polish wasn't dry yet so my index finger looks like a hot mess.

If you don't want to do the pattern on all of the nails you can always apply one of the colors to the other nails.
I think it will look great with black on the nails and the tribal pattern on the accent nails.

I hope you liked it.

3.Make the patterns with black.

Neon Tribal

Hi!
I said I wanted to do the tribal design with neon colors, so here it is.
I would have picked a different orange because this one turned out pretty dark.
But there is nothing I can do about that anymore.
I do like the first version better but I still think that this one is pretty cool too.
What I used:
Basecoat: Essence 24/7 Nail Base.
Colors: Konad White, China Glaze Kiwi Cool-Ada, Yellow Nail Art Pen, Black Acrylic, China Glaze Pink Voltage.
Mixed Colors: Essence Wake Up & Neon Orange Nail Art Pen (1/1).
Other Products: Sponge.
Topcoat: Essence Gel-Look Topcoat.

I hope you liked it.

Summer Tribal

Hi!
When I saw Sehpora's tribal tutorial I knew I had to re-create it.
What I used:
Basecoat: Essence 24/7 Nail Base.
Colors: Black Acrylic, Sephora Teeny Bikini, Paris Memories 234, OPI Hot & Spicy, Ciaté Big Yellow Taxi, Claire's (No Name).
Topcoat: Seche Vite.

I applied the white polish first to make the color appear brighter.
Than I applied the colors and made the designs.
You could use tape to make the lines straight.

I love this manicure.
I am going to do this one with neon color.

I hope you liked it too.

Challenge Day 16 Tribal

Hi!
Past the halfway mark!
At first I didn't like this part of the challenge but now I love it.
I saw this picture and fell in love with this design.
The brown is the perfect color for tribal and the blue gives a nice contrast without looking weird.

What I used:
Basecoat: Essence Nail Sealer.
Colors: Barry M Blueberry Ice Cream, Sephora City Amazon, Paris Memories 236.
Topcoat: Essence Gel-Look Topcoat.

The pattern isn't hard at all, you can do everything with a toothpick.

What is a song I used to love but now hate?
Easy! In The Shadow by The Rasmus.
Everyone knows this song, I loved this song 2 years ago but hate it now.
I can't listen to it anymore.

A movie you used to love but now hate?
(All of the movie challenges have the same questions.)
Hmm... I don't know any movie...
No awnser for this one..
Sorry.

I hope you liked it.
Please comment.
