Starting Out Sunday DIY Nail Stickers

Hi!
Last week I showed you how to make nail stickers yourself.
I don't use that technique a lot.
I prefer this way. I use it for almost every logo design I do.
I got this idea from 3Tanjaj3 on Youtube.

What I used:
Plastic Folder, Tools (I used toothpicks but you can use brushes too), Nail polish, Topcoat.

The red is Catrice Bloody Mary To Go, the white is Paris Memories 234 and the topcoat is Essence Absolute Pure but you could use any colors you like. But you do need some kind of clear polish.

It's really easy.
Just polish on the polishes in the design you want.
I have a picture underneath the plastic so I know where to place the polish.
Apply a layer of topcoat over the polished image and let it dry.
When the topcoat is dry you can easily peel the sticker off.
Apply your topcoat over the nail and stick the sticker onto the topcoat.
Seal everything in with a final layer of topcoat.

If you are gonna stick it over a black base (or a dark base) I would suggest to start with a white and than layering the colors over it. Like I did with the red.

I hope you liked it.

Stamping Saturday Jeffrey Campbell

Hi!
Another shoe inspired design.
This time it is a shoe by Jeffrey Campbell.
He makes artistic shoes, I was inspired by this shoe.
I switched the grey for white because I like it better that way.

What I used:
Basecoat: Essence Ultra Strong.
Colors: Ruby Kisses Teal Envy, Paris Memories 234, Konad Black.
Other Products: Stamping Products, M73.
Topcoat: INM AirTight.

1.Apply your base and the white polish.

2. Apply 1/3 black and 2/3 turquoise.
Scrape in the same direction as you apply the polishes.

4.Stamp the image on to the nails and apply your topcoat.

I hope you liked it.

15 Products I Love

Hi!
I was using some products and started to think about how much I love some of them.
This is my top 15 in no specific order.
1. A glass file, I love this one.
It files perfectly, it is better to use a glass file than a sand file.
I also hate the feeling a sand file gives me.

2. Citadel brushes, I got these almost 2 years ago.
They are amazing, they lost almost no hairs and stayed in a good shape.
I've got the sizes Fine Detail (26) and Detail Brush (27).

3. Essence Nail Art Stylist.
This is my baby, I love this one, you can draw with it and use it as a dotting tool.
They say it is to pick up rhinestone but I don't like it for that.
But it is perfect to draw on your nails.

4.Paris Memories nail polish.
The brush is comparable to China Glaze.
The formula is great, not to thin or to think.
And the pigmentation is great for the price, most of the polishes need 2-3 coats.
The colors are: Black (236) and White (234), which are my favorite white and black that I can buy in the drugstores.

5. Essence Manicure Gloves.
These look ridiculous when you wear them but when you appy handcream or any other product to your hand you'll always have to wait to do something else.
Well if you use these you can do everything.
Essence says you should wear it at night, I do that too but I'll also wear it daytime when I use a bit to much handcream.

6. L'oreal Elvive Re-nutrition Hair Mask.
I  straighten my hair alot, so my hair gets really damaged.
So it's necessary for me to use a hair mask.
What I like about this one is that you only have to wait 1-2 minutes, after I washed my hair and used my conditioner I get out of the shower and apply a good amount to my hair.
I let it sit for 2 minutes and than I rinse my hair.
This makes my hair soft and feels so healty.
But the main reason that I love it is the short time that you have to wait, who want to wait 15 minutes in a bathroom? I can tell you, not me!

7.L'oreal Elvive Nutri-Gloss Spray.
I used this after I showered and it just makes my hair soft and easier to comb.
I also use this when my hair is dry and is really tangeled.
This is the light version but honestly I don't notice any difference with the normal version.

8. Hegron Hair Serum.
This smooths my hair amazingly without making it heavy or loose volume and keeps the style your hair is only less frizzy.
The only thing I don't like it that when you use a bit too much your hair will look greasy.
But that happens with every serum.
9.L'oreal Hot Curls Spray.
I know, I like a lot of L'oreal products.
I have a different heat protenctend for when I curl my hair and for when I straighten my hair.
This one is for when I curl my hair, what I like is that it is a spray,
with creams I sometimes forget to put it in and I always get too much and it is just horrible.
This doesn't smell that bad and doesn't leave your hair with a smell.

10. Scrub Glove.
I got this on vacation at The Body Shop.
When I use body scrub it will always fall out of my hand and I will get it everywhere.
But this scrubs my body without leaving a mess.
Just put your showergel on the glove and move it over your body.
I use my The Body Shop Sakura showergel.

11. The Body Shop Sakura.
I've got more products in this scent but these 2 I use the most.
I first use the body lotion and than I spray the Eau De Toilette over it because on its own it won't stay on your skin that long.
I just love this scent.
If there is a scent that I wear almost everyday it would be this one.

12.Vaseline.
I use the lipbalms (little jars) all the time, mostly at night because the sink in slowly so they can really sink in all night.
The normal version under my eyes when they get dark, the next morning my dark cirkles will be a lot lighter.
Plus it will also help with any dry spots on your body.
13. Lipconditiner from my local pharmacy.
I know a lot of people can't get this but it is just like Blistex.
I love this, the main chapsticks here are Blistex and Labello.
I can't use Labello because it dries my lips.
And I like the stick form better than the tubes that Blistex sells.
14. Montagne Jeunesse mask,
I like these because they come in a lot of different kinds.
These are my favorites.
The first one is one for men with orange extract that really wakes up the skin.
There is almost no difference between the kind for men and for woman, the mens kind only has more product in the package.
The second one is the Sauna mask, this heats up really nicely, not to hot but it still heats up.
After I use this I scrub my face because the mask opens up my pores.
This really helps when you have a lot of dirt in your pores.

15. Garnier Roll-on Eyes roller.
This is a holy grail product for me, I have very fair skin.
So my dark circles look even darker than they are.
This helps with that and tightens up the skin.
It also has a cooling effect so it really feels good in the morning.
Garnier also sells a formula with a concealer in it but that is too dark for me.
Those were 15 products I love,
I hope you liked it.
Please let me know your favorite products.

Hair Extensions

Hi!
For the people who don't follow me on twitter, I got hair extensions.
I wanted to dye my hair with colors like this:

But the Girl that was doing my hair said that it would be a waste of money because the colors would fade really fast so she suggested to put in some colored extensions.
They didn't had blue but they did had purple and pink so I decided to go with those two colors.
I got 5 pink extensions en 6 purple one in total.
She said that I could come back if I want more but I like how it turned out.
So I will keep it like this.

She said that the extensions will last for about 3 months.
But I can't use my straightener around the glue of the extentions, the glue will melt than and they won't stick.
I'm  also carefull with brushing my hair, you could pull them out if you brush really hard.

you can see that they aren't really obvious but they do add a fun touch to my hair.

I hope you liked it.

Chip? Switch! Day 12

Hi!

I will try to post more updates.

After 4 days all my nails have chipped.
So I switched everything.
I choose to use a red color and a flake polish over it.

Color Club Covered In Diamonds, Catrice Bloody Mary To Go.

Here you can see the flakes in the polish.

I applied 2 coats of the red and 2 coats of the flake polish.

I hope you liked it.

Burned My Thumb!?

Hi!
I already see people showing Halloween nail polishes.
I want to do some tutorials for halloween this year,
I'm going to show some polishes that I think are great to wear, a few easy designs and I want to show a few hard ones if I have the time.
This is an harder one, it's using the technique of special effects make-up.
I just adjusted the colors and used nail polish and nail glue instead of make-up.
Only on the finger I used eyeshadow, concealer and lipstick.
This is my second time doing nail art like this, I know it's not perfect but I think it isn't that bad either.

I hope you liked it, well that sounds kinda weird.
I hope you thought it was good?
I hope you think I've done a good job!
That's better.
