Hi!
If you have as much polish as I do you will end up with polishes that look really similar.
At first I thought that I didn't a lot of similar polishes but I was proved wrong.
That was how this new series was born, I am going to compare polishes for you.
This series is not to choose a polish that is better but to tell you the difference and similarities between polishes.
You have to choose for your self which one you would like better.
So lets just get started with the first the first part, gold polishes!
Let's first start with packaging.
China Glaze has a large round bottle that comes with 14ml of polish.
Most polishes by China Glaze have a black cap but the holiday polishes come with a silver one.
The brush is a skinny long one. I really like brush, I find that I can apply polishes really nice with there brushes.
The Ciaté bottle is a mini but the only difference between a full size and a mini is that the mini is smaller and has a smaller cap but the brush and polish are the same.
Ciaté bottles have a weird shape, it is as curved rectangle.
I think it is a cool idea and original.
The brush is also completely different from the China Glaze, it is a wide brush squared brush.
Full size Ciaté polishes come with 13.5 ml.
Now over to the actual polishes.
Midnight Kiss is a yellow gold polish with some shimmer.
I am wearing this polish on my middle finger and pink finger.
I used 2 coats.
China Glaze polishes nice consistency, not too runny but still easy to spread.
And I find that China Glaze polishes stay like this for quite some time.
Sand Dune on the other hand is a lot warmer and more gold than Midnight Kiss.
Sand Dune also has more shimmer.
But I did had to use 3 coats for this polish to cover my free edge.
I am wearing this polish on my index finger and ring finger.
Ciaté polishes are ever so slightly thicker than China Glaze polishes.
I hope you liked it.
Please comment.
